Carminish House is ideally situated to indulge the following
pursuits,

Walking
Harris is the southern half
of what is known as the ‘Long Island’; the northern
half being Lewis. North Harris is mountainous, with An Clisham
its highest point, at 799 m (2621 ft).
The eastern seaboard is rugged and contrasts sharply with the
fertile south-western shores on which the Atlantic waters have
formed a great many superb beaches, some of which stretch for
miles.
